Our breathtaking real bride chose our GRAY wedding dress with the matching veil for this special day, and we’re in love with how she took this modern style and made it feel so traditionally bridal against the countryside setting.

How did you meet? Tell us your proposal story!
Alyssa and Sam’s Love Story began with a chance meeting at work! Imagine the luck to meet the love of your life where you can see them every day.
Sam proposed to Alyssa on a sentimental trip to Wales. “Sam proposed in Wales, where we had our first trip away.” We can only imagine how beautiful such a proposal would have been.
Which Evie Young gown did you fall in love with? & What was your experience like?
“I fell in love with the GRAY gown!
I loved everything about the dress! The delicate lace details, the neckline and the simplicity of the dress.
I had an amazing experience at I Do Frocks in Thatcham. I was initially torn between Roxanne and Gray. I first tried on Roxanne and absolutely loved her, but Gray just gave me a whole look I never expected to have. “
Those are the best say-yes-to-the-dress moments, in our opinion, when a dress you never thought you’d choose takes you by surprise. It’s true what they say, the dress chooses you!

Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding!
“We got married in Lains Barn in Oxfordshire. We went for a simple, rustic look.”
They achieved this wedding look so perfectly! The English countryside setting making for a perfectly rustic backdrop to the event.
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
Alyssa, understandably, loved every moment and memory of her wedding day. This is the most you could hope for, for any bride!
“Everything! From the start of the day getting ready, to ending the day with fireworks.”
What advice would you share with future Evie brides?
“Remember what matters most is you and your partner. Delegate to family and friends as you cannot handle everthing, especially on the day. Always remember to take small breaks and just pause, as the day can get very overwhelming.”
