How did you meet? Tell us your proposal story!
The couple met the organic way, through mutual friends at a perfectly timed party. Their romance was undeniable from the start. Sharing their first kiss in a personal moment under the street lamp outside of their friend’s house. We can see the scene now. Two people, standing in a moment of their very own. Illuminated by their own golden light and the warmth of their first loving embrace.
Perfect, romantic moments would seem to follow the pair throughout their relationship. Leon proposing in Italy, under a full moon.
“Leon proposed in Italy after we won a classic car rally. We were walking along the port of Bolsena under a full moon when he proposed.”

Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding!
Vivian and Leon celebrated their marriage at a beautiful, refurbished castle in the Rheingau wine region of Germany. Balancing vintage charm with modern trend with pops of burgundy in their decor.
“Our wedding was at Schwarzenstein Castle in the Rheingau region of Germany. Our wedding theme was burgundy and silver to reflect a vintage vibe.”
We think this venue and theme achieved that vibe and more! Every detail feeling intentional and timelessly romantic.
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
“Everything was beautiful, but the most beautiful moment was when I walked down the aisle and Leon just said ‘wow’.”
These are always the moments that feel so impactful. The first time the groom sees his bride, minutes away from being able to call her his wife.
What advice would you share with future Evie brides?
“Don’t stress so much about what others think. Enjoy the day, because it goes by too quickly.”
