Our real bride Allie chose our bridal separates for her wedding day! Making her own personalised dream dress out of our Greta Bodice with pearl details, and satin Gene A-line skirt. She looks so chic and totally herself!
Allie and her husband Nathan grew up around each other through their church. In adult life when they reconnected over a conversation about work, the conversation never stopped and eventually became a spark.
Nathan proposed to Allie in a place that was special to him, making it all the more personal and romantic.
“Nathan proposed to me at a Rose Garden he used to go to as a child. The rose garden was very significant in his childhood because he would feel at peace there and explained he didn’t need it now because he had me.”
Allie fell in love with her wedding dress at LUV Bridal Cucamonga. Adoring our Greta Bodice for the pearls, the corset shape and the vintage inspiration of the design. Building the rest of the look from there.
“I found my dress during my first and only appointment at Luv Bridal! I initially tried the bodice on with a different skirt as my first ever dress I tried on. I was obsessed with the top and kept going back to it after every dress I tried on, I knew I wanted a more dramatic skirt with it and as soon as I tried it with the Gene skirt I knew that was my dress.“
The couple had their special day on a desert ranch that holds sentimental value to the bride.
“We got married at Sun Ray Ranch in Morongo Valley Ca! I actually grew up going to this venue due to family friends owing it, so it had incredible significance to me. I wanted to highlight the desert landscape that reminded me of the beauty of my hometown, Palm Springs CA and this venue was perfect for it. The style of our wedding was a rustic desert! I also wanted to highlight our wedding party so we only allowed our wedding party to wear colour and all guests were required to wear black!”
“My favourite moment from our big day was our first touch/prayer where we had read our private vows to each other.“
“My advice to future Evie Young brides would be to take in the day as much as you can. I know you hear this alot but truthfully the day goes by so quickly and I don’t want anyone taking it for granted!”
