Madi Lane bride Eleanor said ‘I do’ to her high school sweetheart Jake wearing our MADDOX gown in a beautiful beachside style wedding at Kingscliff. We are obsessed with the flowing champagne tower, beach palms, and beautiful sunset vibes their wedding gives off!
Where did you find ‘the one’, and why did you choose that gown?
I selected 5 dresses in different styles from Luv Bridal. But I didn’t ‘fall in love’ with any, then Maddox was recommended and as soon as I put it on I knew I’d be walking down the aisle in it.
How did you meet?
In high school, and rekindled years later.
Tell us your proposal story.
Jake is the romantic one, he proposed on a weekend away in our favourite holiday town after margaritas.
Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding.
A northern NSW beachside towntown, Kingscliff, was the exact location we wanted for our relaxed and elegant wedding. Perfect sunset, flowing champagne tower and palms were the perfect background for photos and dancing.
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
Standing at the end of the aisle, about to walk down to my future husband.
What advice would you share with future Madi Lane brides?
Don’t overthink! It’s easy to be overwhelmed when you start looking. Try to relax and enjoy the experience and be open to try something you don’t think you’ll like.
