How did you meet? Tell us your proposal story!
We actually met online, during covid, we were on two opposite sides of the world. I was in Croatia, he was in Australia. It took a lot of courage, a lot of patience and above all, a lot of love. We were so blessed to have been able to travel back and forth since. I never thought love like this was possible.
Tommaso proposed to me in my home city, Split, Croatia. He organised the whole thing months in advance. He called my parents to ask for their blessing when I was at work one day. He planned the proposal with my photographer friend with a picnic setting. She asked us to tell one another things we loved about each other, and when it was his turn, he expressed how much he loves me and then he knelt down and asked me to marry him. It was a perfect, intimate, sweet proposal.
Which Evie Young gown did you fall in love with? & What was your experience like?
I fell in love with the Lila gown!
I went to a dress studio in Perth Australia but had no luck. And then I found Luv Bridal online and the minute I saw Lila gown, I fell in love and it was my top pick. I had more dresses and styles I wanted to try, but Lila was in the back of my head and first on the list. On the day of my appointment, Lila was the first dress I put on and there was no going back from there, I felt like a princess. I felt sexy, comfortable, confident and most importantly beautiful. I tried on more dresses but she was the one and I knew it. In the end I tried it again and I said that was it. It was so simple, yet so elegant, classy, stylish and comfortable. It was all I could wish for and the ladies at Luv Bridal were so helpful, kind and were my ultimate cheerleaders.

Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding!
We got married in my hometown, Split Croatia. We had a church ceremony with a multilingual mass with all our friends and family.
We had our photos in the centre of the city, on the promenade and in the little old town streets. Our reception was in a big spacious venue with fairy lights. It was all elegant and classy, with bits and pieces from both cultural traditions. Instead of cake, we cut pizza because I love pizza and my partner is Italian. It was a perfect day.
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
My favourite moment was the entrance into the church. When I saw all our family and friends in one place ready to celebrate us, I saw love.
What advice would you share with future Evie brides?
When you try the dress on, you will know. And you will have the best time of your life feeling your sexiest and most beautiful.
