How did you meet? Tell us your proposal story!
Kelsey and Steven’s love proved to be enduring from the very start. Distance and different time zones not enough to keep the couple apart, and standing the test of time.
“Steven and I were introduced by mutual friends however we lived in two different states. Once we started dating we did 7 years of long distance before we even lived in the same time zone.“
After the better part of a decade in love with each other, Steven popped the question. Her engagement ring making for the most special Christmas present she’s ever received.
“Steven proposed to me in the most magical winter town of McCall, Idaho on Christmas Eve. It was just the two of us and it was so romantic and special. We then got to bask in the happiness over the rest of the Christmas holiday.”
Which Evie Young gown did you fall in love with? & What was your experience like?
Kelsey chose our Kerr wedding dress, finding her dream dress at Nicole Maree Bridal, Melbourne, Florida. Falling in love with the style for it’s unique, embroidered details and sexy, modern illusion panels.
“As soon as I put it on I knew she was the one! It was only the second store we had gone to and I knew I had to say yes. I got the gown from Nicole Maree Bridal in Melbourne Florida. I LOVED the embroidery detailing, it was unique and stunning and unlike anything I had ever seen before. I loved the mesh paneling on the sides, it was sexy but sophisticated. Lastly, I loved the buttons going all the way down the back. STUNNING!!”

Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding!
Fern and James celebrated their wedding day on the picturesque Amalfi Coast. With Mediterranean colours and florals that truly set the scene, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
“We got married in Amalfi, Italy at the historic Hotel Santa Caterina. It was timeless, picturesque and absolutely perfect. We had 55 of our closest friends and family travel from the US to Italy to celebrate with us all week in Amalfi.”
A destination wedding done right!
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
“My favourite moment was coming down the aisle. It was the first time we had seen each other and it was just so special to see Steven at the end with all of our favourite people sitting there ready to watch us begin the rest of our lives together.”
What advice would you share with future Evie brides?
“Enjoy every moment. This is the most special day and it is true, it goes by so fast so stay present and live in the moment.“
