Tell us your proposal story!
Isaac proposed at our favorite botanical gardens. We go there frequently together and love venturing through. There’s this gorgeous green solarium surrounded by plants that I adore in the gardens. He proposed inside the solarium! I had a photoshoot that day that he convinced me the photographer agreed to take a couple photos for us to celebrate our anniversary. Instead, they both knew the whole thing was a proposal. It was a beautiful day.
Which Evie Young gown did you fall in love with? & What was your experience like?
I loved the timeless feel of the dress while simultaneously having a modern twist. The removable skirt was a must for me! Getting two looks in one was such a fun component of a dress! I also loved the fabric and comfort of this dress. It wasn’t too over the top and had a very classic touch.
I found the dress at Luv Bridal in Denver, CO! I went to SO many bridal shops throughout Southern California and a few in Denver. Luv was my last stop. I actually found Evie Young on the website and all the dresses were gorgeous. I saw Hilary online and knew she would be perfect and everything I was looking for in a dress!
Where did you get married? Tell us about the location, and style of your wedding!
We got married in Southern California at Marbella Country Club. It was a gorgeous venue on a golf course with gorgeous trees throughout. The club felt like a taste of Spain in the middle of Southern California. We had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the greenery and dinner under the stars. It was absolutely beautiful. Marbella was the best venue you could ask for! Plus, the food was 100/10.
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
There are so many to love. The ceremony really stands out to me. We had a persian-american ceremony and it felt so intimate and memorable. Loved every second of it.
What advice would you share with future Evie brides?
Don’t let the stress of the details get in the way of a beautiful day. Go into your wedding day wanting to just have a memorable day with everyone you love there with you. Everything else is a side note.
