Madi Lane bride Katie tied the knot with her lover Eric wearing our ADALYN gown at the gorgeous Barn at Sunset Ranch in Buena Vista, Colorado. We are obsessed with their rustic style wedding!
I was initially drawn to the romance of Madi Lane gowns. My personal style is simple boho, and I knew I wanted a very bridal moment. When looking through Pinterest, I was drawn to A-line lace gowns with off-the-shoulder bishop sleeves. I tried on dresses at Luv Bridal Denver, and my stylist grabbed Adalyn for me to try on. I remember thinking ‘Well I don’t typically look good in bustier tops so this won’t be a favourite’. I was very wrong! It was a quick favourite and after adding the sleeves, I said yes to the dress!
We got married in Buena Vista, Colorado at the Barn at Sunset Ranch. A picturesque barn at the base of 14,000 ft mountains. Our style was earthy, rustic, and romantic.
It is incredibly difficult to choose a favourite moment, but I think it’d have to be our private first look out on an empty road. It was so special to have a quiet moment just the two of us. We also had our dog, Rogers, at the first look and to say he is attached to me is an understatement!
The advice I’d share with future Madi Brides is to slow down, soak it all in, and stay true to yourself and who you and your fiance are as a couple. It can be easy to get caught up in wedding tiktok and all the things you think you need at your wedding. In 50 years, you won’t remember all of the little details that can get stressful. Hire great vendors, especially photographer and videographer, and let them do their job. You’ll cherish those memories via photo and film forever. Have fun and just get married!
